Sound, that's how Elfinote is

In the design of the loudspeaker enclosure, while the design concept "enclosure must not rattle (note)" is recognized as the orthodox opinion, we Elfinote think that the rattling of the enclosure can be reduced to the minimum but cannot be reduced to zero. We got an idea for the enclosure production greatly showing the good point of the loudspeaker unit to be introduced by combining several wood materials having the properties of not only well sound but also natural sound; for example those employed for string instruments like an antique music box and piano, along our policy not to employ any acoustic absorbent inside the enclosure.

So we decided to employ the two materials; one is a Norway spruce chipboard having the same properties as the cypress material that has a good sound quality and tone and keeps all sound core middle and also having the sound improved exhilaratingly from the upper register of the cypress material and the other is a pure spruce material that is said to produce a gentle and beautiful sound. Furthermore we have successfully produced the sound that is Elfinote Sound by sophisticatedly using these materials having different specific gravities.

We employed PM6A[PM2A factory optional] of LOWTHER loudspeaker unit that is said to be able to reproduce the delicate sound like hearing the rustle of someone's dress to put it into the compact tall boy enclosure adequate to the present AV times. It is said that the back load horn type enclosure rattles frequently in the LOWTHER loudspeaker unit, but it is undeniable that the enclosure has to be bigger if trying to reproduce the well-developed lower range in the back load horn type. From making the decision that it is difficult to gain the consumer understanding while we got possible to live in the house having a large living room recently. Elfinote tried to downsize the enclosure and improved the lower range by providing a sound path inside the enclosure. As the result we could downsize the enclosure to be able to gain the consumer understanding.

Note: It is a devisal not to affect enclosures from the vibration of the piston motion of the loudspeaker unit.

Structure
There are comfortable sound and luxury structure by using the natural spruce material to the whole surface and combining the spruce material and Norway spruce chipboard to the sound path.
LOWTHER PM6A is employed. PM2A can also be employed as a factory option. As compared with PM6A, since PM2A has a distinguished reaction speed because of its enhanced magnetic circuit, it can reproduce more pure and fine sound than PM6A. So even the rustle of someone's dress sounds like a massive sound. In addition, since the lower register becomes more dignified, we would recommend PM2A if you are not satisfied with the reproducibility on PM6A.
There is a device to minimize the vibration from a loudspeaker to the floor by providing the height-adjustable brass and machined spike insulator at the bottom of the enclosure and by using the spike plate manufactured by DuPont Corian. Four-leg loudspeaker stand made of the cubed tamo material having a heavy gravity is supported by the machined aluminum frame with the thickness of 10 mm. The spike plate manufactured by DuPont Corian is built to allow it to be installed into the upper dent of the cubed tamo material.
